If during Christmas, we have the Grinch, what can we call people who hate Feb. 14th and the sweetness that goes with this day? Bitter. Peace y’all! Winks.
This is the time of the year when love is highly celebrated all over the world. There are some who consider celebrating this day as too much of a big deal. While some, let this day pass by just like any ordinary day.
Pardon this article for being a bit cheesy but that’s the mood today, right?
Love. It’s one of the most overused words on earth. Wiki says, “Love is an emotion of strong affection and personal attachment. Love is also a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection; and “the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another”. Love may also be described as actions towards others (or oneself) based on compassion, or as actions towards others based on affection.
It’s one topic that I supposed all people can relate to. Because at one point in our lives, or for many instances over, we have loved and have been loved.
Love comes in different forms, different faces. There are love that can defy the test of distance, generation, and even the slightest chance to fight for it.
How about you? What is the kind of love you are looking for? I asked around a while ago and got these answers. I love their honesty!

If he meets a woman of her dreams, I’ll not have second thoughts of setting him free. Because i believe that true love is giving your partner the best opportunity for the best.” — Josh, 19, product trainer

It seems like most of us are looking for the kind that would last for the longest time possible. Sabi nga ni Gerlie, “Maraming naghahanap ng pangmatagalan. Parang motolite lang.” Ansaveh?
We’ve shared a number of love stories here in our site. It’s good to know that whatever the situation is, we all manage to look beyond the imperfect phases and still hope for the kind that we can hold onto for years, and even for a lifetime.
Let me take this chance to express my own thoughts for the love that I have found seven months ago. You said to keep things private and that I don’t need to share our own lives to the rest of the world. I get you, at dig ko din ang privacy na katulad ng kina Beyonce at Jay-Z. And yes, proud to say I’ve found the kind of love I was looking for.
But for this instance, I want the whole world to know how happy I am to nurture the kind of love that we have right now — the love that doesn’t give up, no matter how difficult the situation is. You’ve been making me happy for the past months and I am truly thankful to have found, not just a good boyfriend, but a great friend as well. I love you! ♥
Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! Don’t give up on love. 🙂
