A student of Batangas National High School, Kevin Martin Saldado was recently adjudged as the Most Outstanding Boy Scout in the country.
Saldado, 16, acted as the City Boy Vice Mayor during the Boy Scout Week last year. He is alos the recipient of the Outstanding Boy Scout of BSP Batangas City Council and second best in regional search held at Los Banos, Laguna.
For this year’s search for top 10 Outstanding Boys Scout of the Philippines, 27 boy scouts from different parts of the country competed. Communication skills and community service were among the criteria for judging for this years’ set of ten outstanding Boy Scouts.
Saldado took home medal, trophy, P15,000 and full scholarship for college. He is also scheduled to compete for Outstanding Boy Scout of the Pacific Region on January 2010 to be held in China.
