The Taal Lake Loop has been a popular route for motorcyclists.
With scenic landscapes, asphalt roads, and posh accommodations, riders are certainly in for a fun and memorable experience.
Three of the groups that shared camaraderie and unity within this route are the Vespa Clubs from Lipa, Batangas, and Calamba. This event aptly named Round Taal Lake Motorbike Caravan Vespa Fun Ride was sponsored by Batangas Lakelands and LIMA Park Hotel, which was also celebrating its 15th anniversary.
LIMA Park Hotel General Manager Mr. Bong Evangelista, early in the morning of December 8, 2023, welcomed the riders at LIMA Park Hotel and also informed them of the event’s objectives and some exciting plans for the only 4-star Hotel in Batangas.
After a brief ride orientation, the Vespa riders rode off to start their journey that spanned the highways of Malvar, Tanauan City, Talisay, Laurel, Lemery, Taal, Agoncillo, San Nicolas Sta. Teresita, Alitagtag, Cuenca, MataasNaKahoy, and finally, at Batangas Lakelands—a premier active-lifestyle park for outdoor adventure, sports, and entertainment activities in Balete, Batangas.
The group elected to ride at a 50-60 kph pace which favored a better, more relaxed experience of a congenial mix of urban, rural, and coastal riding. The Taal Loop is roughly over 100 kilometers; barring stopovers, this loop can be finished in three to four hours.
With medical staff on-site, scenic stopovers, and expert riders spearheading the disciplined pack of 70 riders, the LIMA Park Hotel did not only promote camaraderie and unity amongst the riders but Batangas’ budding motourism as well.
