Everything started from a simple idea that branched out to big goals and aspirations for a greater good. In a span of two years, WOWBatangas.com, indeed, have gone a long way.

Being a part of the team’s journey, I say, has never been that easy. We have gone through rough circumstances and challenging decisions. We laugh, we cry, we fight, but we still stick together. We, like any other team, continue to hold on to what we had promised from the start – that we’ll make it through anything together.

It’s an honor for us to be recognized by people everytime we go out to an event. Every experience we went through contributed to our personal growth and realizations. The people we’ve met along the way have thought us lessons we may have or may have not expected. The stories people have shared to us motivated us to pursue our dreams as individuals and as a team.

WOWBatangas.com is now more than an online interactive magazine. We have claimed that this is the Official Website of Batangueños. With these two descriptions, we hope you all know by now that WOWBatangas.com is not just the four of us – JR, Gerlie, Alva, and me. WOWBatangas.com is YOU.

Pure blooded Batangueño or not, as long as you take pride of what Batangas is all about, you belong here. You belong to the ‘wow’ factors that make Batangas a world-class and well-loved province.

Yesterday, before the ALA Eh! Festival began, WOWBatangas Team was given the plaque of recognition for our contribution in promoting the tourism of Batangas. Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto and Vice Gov. Mark Leviste awarded us the plaque and it was a gleeful moment for the team.

It pleases our ears whenever people mention ‘WOWBatangas’ when they see us or when they pass by in front of our office. But the applause given to us yesterday, it was remarkable.
