Magnolia, a popular ice cream brand in the country showed it’s support to Philippine tourism by launching the “Best of the Philippines” Ice cream flavor collection. And among these flavors include our very own kapeng barako (Coffee Crumble) and tablea (Tsokolate Tablea).
Aside from promoting the local flavor, Magnolia is also promoting the different tourist attractions and festivities of the province. Batangas tub wrap highlights Mt. Carmel Church in Lipa City, Taal Park, Calaruega Church, Jaybanga Lobo, Taal Volcano, Ambon-Ambon Falls, Malabrigo Lighthouse, Fantasy World, Mt. Malarayat, Acuatico San Juan Laiya and Cintai Coritos Garden Resort, a picture of Ala Eh Festival and of course the official seal of Batangas provincial government.
“We are happy that these provinces agreed to be featured for our new Magnolia Ice Cream flavors. We are hitting two birds with one stone by promoting our new flavors and the country’s tourism program,” said Mr. Mayo Alcon Magnolia Ice Cream General Manager during the launching. The launching was also attended by our Vice Governor Mark Leviste and Toursim Officer, Ms. Emelie Katigbak.
So folks, let’s beat the summer heat while promoting our tourism with these cool ice cream flavors from Batangas. As the tagline says, “Huwag maging dayuhan sa sariling ice cream”
Other flavors include ube keso of Baguio, Macapuno Langka and Macapuno Banana of Laguna and Mangoes and Cream of Guimaras.
