The lifting of the Church ban against the public adoration of Our Lady Mediatrix of All Grace would surely draw more pilgrims to the Carmel monastery in Lipa City.
Archbishop Ramon Arguelles lifted the ban but said it was just a reverberation of the lifting done by Archbishop Mariano Gaviola in 1991. Arguelles exclaimed “there was nothing wrong in praising apparitions” and that “the Blessed Mother has protected the country from calamities.”
Furthermore, Arguelles said devotees perpetually visit the Carmel monastery despite the ban to pray and make personal petitions.
With this, Arguelles has formed a new commission to revisit the series of apparitions of the Virgin Mary at the Carmel monastery.
