It was August 25, 2008 when I, together with some publication staffers/friends, went in search of the Montemaria Shrine in Batangas City. We were not aware that the shrine (reported to be taller than the statue in Rio de Janeiro) was not yet built. But being on the area where it would rise, gave us a unique experience that I could still recall up to now.
The Shrine of Montemaria is located at Brgy. Pinagkilatan, Batangas City. There, will rise the monuments of Mary Mother of the Poor and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The location is so serene (it’s across Isla Verde) fit for worship and retreat.
Early this morning, I came across the blogsite of Montemaria and found this new post that I think is really benificial for us especially for those who would want healing – physical, emotional, and psychological. This post is about reflections and rebirth on healing along with guidelines and a prayer made by Sis. Raquel Reodica, RVM.
