Back-to-Back Seminars on Apprenticeship and Culinary Tourism at LIMA Park Hotel

philippine marketing association batangas chapterPhilippine Marketing Association – Batangas Chapter, in partnership with Lima Park Hotel and First Asia Institute of Technology, conducted a 4-hour seminar on apprenticeship and culinary tourism.

The seminar was part of the two-day tourism convention (Feb. 23-24) also held at Lima Park Hotel. The event was spearheaded by the Philippine Marketing Association – Batangas Chapter, with its president, Ms. Malou Malaluan.

Participants of the event were students from De La Salle Lipa, Lipa City Colleges, FAITH, and AMA Lipa. In line with the theme, Philippine Tourism 2010: Exploring Innovative Ventures, the participants were given a handful of information regarding apprenticeship. This was introduced by the first speaker, Mr. Danny Araneta-Cabulay.

Mr. Danny Araneta-Cabulay is a Certified Public Accountant is the Chief Operating Officer of Hotel Pontefino and former dean of Far Eastern University. Being an expert in different fields (business, education, hospitality management), he shared everything the participants need to know when they enter the challenging world of apprenticeship.
