It’s that time of the year again when the little act of turning off the lights can make a huge difference on our planet. Yes, it’s the turning off that turns on the Earth — extending its life as we all do our part.
Have you been an active part of the movement?
What started in Sydney, Australia back in 2007 has now become a global act of kindness for Mother Earth. What started as a simple advocacy in one city in the south crawled up on various parts of the world, making it one of the most observed and supported environmental campaign by people across the globe.
Earth Hour goes beyond the one-hour of turning off the lights in our houses, on the streets, in every establishment that is one with the world in this movement. Earth Hour is every hour that precedes and succeeds this ‘hour of darkness’. Because every hour matters to the planet and to mankind as a whole.
Support Earth Hour. Turn off the lights at 8:30PM to 9:30PM tomorrow, March 31, 2012.
