We’re blessed. And we’re more than thankful.
The past year had been fruitful, I must say. JR and Gerlie were joined in by Dyan and Alva. We were just four hopeful individuals working for a greater dream not just for ourselves but for our fellow Batangueños as well. Then came Marilyn (or Mane). Now, we are bigger, better. All because of you – the WOWBatangas supporters.
We realized the need for a bigger space when students who came in for the on-the-job-training are also growing in number. The team need a space that isn’t just a wrokable workplace. The team need a home – a place that would cradle all our ambitions, future plans, and new relationships ahead.
Yesterday, August 1, was the blessing of the new WOWBatangas Home (that’s how we’d like to call it) and the celebration of JR’s upcoming birthday (two-in-one celebration). It was a collaborated effort for our guests to enjoy. It was also our opportunity to show our appreciation to the people who have become part of the team’s journey.
It was an afternoon BBQ party shared with friends, clients, business partners, colleagues, and the team members’ respective families. I won’t be mentioning the names, you all know who you are. The entire team is extending its BIG thanks and hugs to all of you for celebrating with us and for believing in what we’re doing.
Special thanks to Bryan Mercado of Cafe de Lipa for providing the best coffee treat ever! It was a blockbuster man! To Dan Inciong of Barik Batangas, your mobile bar just added so many cheers to our party. In fairness, ang daming nagpa-picture sa mobile bar mo. 🙂 And to Guitar Tutee, thanks for entertaining our guests. Salamat Thanx, Clara Reyes, and Penny Matanguihan!

Ang pagkain ang syang naappreciate ng halos karamihan! Bihira lang kasi ang BBQ parties dito sa atin kaya marami ang natuwa, samahan pa nang rumaragasang kape ng Cafe de Lipa! Ano pa ga! Sa tingin ko ha, parang feel at home talaga ang mga bisita.. Ewan ko ba, parang ganun ang feeling ko e.. parang kanila din talaga ung new office.. 🙂 At yun ang gusto ko sa handaan, walang keme-keme! I love parties! Parang nandito na sa event na ito ang lahat ng hinahanap ko sa isang event to make it special – sumptuous food, good music, great companies. Sa pagbabasbas na ginawa sa WOWBatangas Home, nawa ay mas maging kapaki-pakinabang pa ang mga uusbong na ideya mula sa WOWB Team. Patuloy nawa ring patnubayan ni BRO ang aming mga gawain at mga adhikain. I can’t thank enough all those people who really made themselves free for the TEAM and joined us in our home blessing and Jr’s bday celebration. Wala nang mas sasarap pa sa malulutong na halakhakan at masasayang kantahan at kwentuhan kasama ng mga tunay na kaibigan. Sabayan mo pa ng nakakatakam na BBQ ni Chef Drix, swabeng mocktails (and those hard ones rin) ng BARIK Mobile Bar, at walang ubos na mood coffee ng CAFE DE LIPA ay tunay ka, solve na solve talaga!
