2011, What Do You Have for Us?

Whenever a new year dawns, we anticipate new things in the hope of making a fresh start. What are you looking forward to this 2011?

You may have tangible or intangible dreams for the year but remember, those who believe they can actually achieve something has the greater chance of materializing it.

2011 is the year of the Metal Rabbit. People born under this Chinese Zodiac are characterized as calm, creative, sensitive, an advocate of peace and serenity and dismisses confrontations, aggressiveness, and conflicts. They are well-mannered and sophisticated and they enjoy other people’s company.

The Year of the Rabbit begins on February 3, 2011 and concludes on January 22, 2012. With all that’s being told about the people born under this sign, 2011 is expected to be a peaceful year. Does it mean reconciliation for nations at war?

Back to the question… What are you looking forward to this year?

Personally, I promise to be nicer to my system and put my health into a higher spot on the list of my priorities. Last year, I’ve had several sick days which I don’t want to re-occur this year.

I’ll try to visit new places for 2011 and hopefully get to learn a new language. I have difficulty in letting go of stuffs especially when they’re given to me as gifts. I know I have to ditch few more things from my private space if I wanted a clutter-free 2011. Give me a red Christian Louboutin pumps, I’d do the ditching in five minutes flat.

World peace. We want to “heal the world and make it a better place”. If we can do that, we’re gods. But for the meantime we’re enjoying our humanness, why not try to be better individuals? New year’s resolutions have always been part of our tradition in embracing a coming year. Have you always been good in keeping them?

Whatever the Year of the Rabbit will bring, I hope we could all keep up.
