The second week of June 2024 hosted Lipa City’s 419th founding anniversary.

Among the activities in the weeklong celebrations are the Independence Day Celebration, Pride is for Everyone, Araw ng Pasasalamat at Kasiyahan para sa mga Haligi ng Tahanan, Lomi and Food Fair, Health and Fitness, Ms. Lipa Tourism 2024, Dance Sports, Rapid Chess Tournament, I-toda na to-toda got talent, Hibik at Himagsik ni Victoria Lakdao, Lipa Siege, Agri Coop and Vet Trade Fair, Lipa Stakeholders Business Summit, Socio Civic Parade, and Concert at the Plaza.

During the Pride is For Everyone program, the LGU honored the LGBTQIA+ community which showcased the city’s inclusivity and the active participation and invaluable contributions of said community to the city.

The program was attended by the LGBTQIA+ community members, Lipa City Mayor Eric Africa, Vice Mayor Camille Lopez, Lipa City Councilors, NGOs, and known personalities in the city.

The event highlighted souvenir booths, talent competitions, and free HIV testing.
