As Malacanang declares the official holidays of December, have you planned your Christmas vacation?
We have two long weekends and there are three regular working days sandwiched between Christmas and New Year.
Dec. 24 (Friday) – additional special non-working holiday
Dec. 25 (Saturday) – Christmas Day (regular holiday)
Dec. 26 (Sunday) – non-working day
Dec. 27 (Monday) – non-working holiday (Rizal Day which is in Dec.30 is a non-working holiday and was moved to Monday after Christmas)
Dec. 31 (Friday) – special non-working holiday
Jan. 1 (Saturday) – New Year (regular holiday)
Jan. 2 (Sunday) – non-working day
That means the working days for the Christmas vacation are Dec. 28, 29, and 30 only.
