Is it Still a Quiet Black Saturday in the Philippines?

Black Saturday, also called Sabado de Gloria, is the day after Jesus Christ died on the cross. This is a day of mourning for people who believed in Christ when others chose to condemn Him and want Him dead.

It’s supposed to be a quiet day as we remember the death of Christ but in most tourist spots in the country, this is one of the busiest days of the year. But it doesn’t seem quiet in our place. The barangay next to us is celebrating their fiesta tomorrow that’s and this day’s such a busy day for people there.

Though we all have different ways in spending this day, we should always remember to do things safely. Although it’s the day we remember that God was lying on the tomb, our faith in Him remains unshaken.

P-Noy declared this day as special non-working holiday. We hope you had a meaningful vacation. Tomorrow’s a special day for all of us. Let’s hear Easter mass and hunt for all those Easter eggs around! 🙂
