Umulan man ng bahagya ay di napigilan ang mga mananakbong kalahok sa ginanap na 8th Karipasan 2016 noong ika-7 ng Enero, 2016 sa LIMA Park Hotel, Malvar Batangas. Pinasinayaan ito ng ating butihing Gobernadora Vilma Santos Recto.  Mahigit kumulang 2500 na mananakbo ang lumahok at nakisaya sapagkat isa na din itong paraan upang magkawang gawa. Ang nalikom na pondo ay mapupunta sa Good Samaritan Foundation at Bato Balani Foundation.  Nahahati sa pitong kategorya ang naturang paligsahan 3k Male Category, 3k Female Category, 5k Male Category, 5k Female Category, 10k Male Category, 10k Female Category, Couple Category.

Mayroon din ginanap na waiter’s race kung saan kalahok ang ilang sa mga HRM student ng iba’t ibang Schools at mga empleyado ng mga iba’t ibang restaurants ng dine sa atin Batangas. Nagtagisan ng diskarte at bilis ang mga estudyante sa pagtakbo habang binabalanse ang mga baso at pitsel sa isang kakaibang race course. Ilan pa sa mga activities nila ay Zumba Dance Workout at Bike Rental.
