puntong ala eh celebrates 12th anniversarry
Puntong Ala Eh!, the longest-running news and public affairs program in Batangas, is now on its 12th year of  bringing the latest news and issues in the local community. This program airs through the Batangas Community Channel BCTV 73 (then STV 6) with the help of the Public Information Office.

Puntong Al Eh! launched its pilot episode on Aug.12, 1996 and returned on air July 23, 2008 after a year’s break due to the maintenance of cable tv outlets. To date, the program had aired almost a thousand episodes, sufficing the needs of the locals of the current issues, events, and relevant public information throughout the years.

On its first year of come back, Puntong Ala Eh! featured some notable events such as Batangas being the national site of the World Environment Day; Ronilito Paring’s First Sea Kayak Expedition; Batanguenos’ participation on the Earth Hour; the Manny Pacquiao-Ricky Hatton fight; the healing priest, Fr. Fernando Suarez’ visit; the latest, the mass offered for the late president and Mother of Democracy, Corazon Aquino.

After a decade on the local cable channel, Puntong Ala Eh! will continue to be part of the local news and public affairs scene for the service of every Batangueno.
