I bet you most of you had a blast on your recent Christmas party. Probably because of the sumptuous buffet meals or the endless dancing ’til you drop or the overflowing beers and cheers all night long.
Before I miss out what this article is about, don’t forget about how you laugh at others and at yourself when you started the party games. And for the last couple of years since this game came to being, Pinoy Henyo tops Christmas party games.
Tao? Bagay? Parte ng katawan? Pagkain? Sinusuot ba ‘to? Ginagamit sa banyo? Laughs. Here are the probable reasons why Pinoy Henyo became such a hit:
1. It makes your brains works. Well, not that it hasn’t been functioning, I mean, you really have to make your brain cells squeeze the answers out before the time stops ticking.
2. You tend to ask silly questions to come up with the Henyo word. And this is what makes you everyone’s laughingstock.
3. You may not realize it but you’re exercising your classification skill. See? You start from general categories then narrow things down to specific answers.
4. You get a dose of happiness for the heck of it. Who cares if you win or lose. People care more if you make the whole guessing time a whole lot of fun.
It’s just right that we thank Eat Bulaga for coming up with Pinoy Henyo. Now it has become a household game and will be one of the classics, years from now. 😉
