Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Cadet Ma. Camille Cabasis, a local of Lian, Batangas, was proclaimed as the top graduate of PNPA Layag-Diwa Class of 2024 in its recent commencement exercises held last April 19 at Camp General Mariano Castañeda in Silang, Cavite.
Cabasis topped a class composed of 223 cadets who will then be tasked to The Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, or the Bureau of Fire Protection as its officers. Cabasis opted to join the PNP.
She also received the prestigious Gawad Kampilan from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Before PNPA, the only daughter of Edwin and Lucena Cabasis wore many hats to sustain her studies including selling siopao to her classmates and friends. Camille graduated Cum Laude at Batangas State University with a degree in Criminology. Further on, she became the regional topnotcher in the National Criminology Board exams.
Camille Cabasis embodies a true Batanguena spirit as she also serves as a stern symbol of women empowerment, wisdom, hard work and perseverance.
