Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) Sets Foot South of Manila, Brings Tourists Closer to Batangas Destinations

Holiday Inn & Suites, one of the renowned brands of IHG Hotels and Resorts, has opened its doors as the first IHG brand in the South of Metro Manila.

Situated in Malvar, Batangas, Holiday Inn & Suites Batangas Limapark is the fifth Holiday Inn in the country and the first full-service IHG-branded hotel south of Manila. “These are certainly exciting times,” remarked Maria Patria Alodia Puyat, General Manager of Holiday Inn Manila Galleria and Crowne Plaza, in her speech last July 1, 2024 at the hotel’s convention hall. “It is an excellent addition to our portfolio.” The Holiday Inn Brand promises to deliver the brighter side of travel to its guests, and with this milestone, the province will be enriched with a new standard of hospitality and service excellence.

Batangas, a province less than two hours away from Manila, is an ideal destination for business, leisure and events. The province also boasts of historical churches and sites, radiant communities, breathtaking outdoors, idyllic beaches and sumptuous local cuisine and delicacies, making any visit more memorable.
