The Lipa Choral Ensemble brought home Gold!

TLCE (The Lipa Choral Ensemble) is recipient of 2 Gold awards from the recent 16th Malaysian Choral Eisteddfod held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  They landed at the upper rank in the Mixed Voices and Folklore Categories and was awarded Gold B and C respectively.  This event is hailed as a prestigious performing arts gatherings in Malaysia.  More than 80 choirs from all over the world joined the said event to share love for choral music.
TLCE is devotee of San Sebastian for 44 years now, singing as a mainstay choir every Sunday at the 7pm mass. The group is composed of young professionals and students, led by Mr. Eric Kalaw as choirmaster.   Weekends are dedicated to focus on rehearsals and to continuously develop mastery in choral music.  Mr. Eduardo Segismundo is their Founder and Chairman, equally committed to keep the choir together.  He even built a dedicated studio in their Lipa residence where rehearsals and all private gatherings of the choir take place.   Their service crosses all over the Archdiocese of Lipa and throughout Batangas.
Our biggest Congratulations to TLCE for bringing pride to San Sebastian Cathedral Parish, to the City of Lipa, Province of Batangas and to our beloved country, Philippines!
