On Saturday, news reports told that Bauan was put under state of calamity due to floods. We all hope no further damage will occur. Let’s pray for everyone’s safety.
When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. But if we keep on looking at the brighter side of things, there lies some goodness, no matter how difficult things may seem.
Our point is, Batangueños are mighty bunch of people who will not surrender on tough times. Barako nga di ga? Despite the fishkill and the destructive visit of typhoon Dodong in our province, we know that soon, everything will get back to their normal phases.

Yesterday, we celebrated the 113th Independence Day of the Philippines. With the commemoration of our independence, let’s remember how the nation claimed freedom. Filipinos were united. And in difficult times like these – with fish kill and other natural calamities – unity matters most.
