The Benefits of Going Around Batangas

I am fond of going out. Sabi nga, dahil may nunal daw ako sa paa, hindi na nakakapagtaka kung lagi akong palayas ng bahay.

If we don’t have events or other office engagements, I would opt to go out and meet my favorite people. Either dine out and see a movie or slouch on our favorite coffee shop’s couch and talk for hours over a grande of mocha frap.

It’s not that our house doesn’t pose anything interesting. It’s just that going out, walking around, gives me the chance to discover things, notice them a little bit more, and learn how they co-exist with me. Are they important?

Every morning I walk the distance from our house to the office, except when I’m late or when it’s raining. I love walking the streets of Mataasnakahoy. Walang masyadong hassle, walang masyadong sagabal.

When driving around, I love the stretch of San Juan where the green fields seem to entice me for a few minutes of marveling on its refreshing visual attractiveness. Of course I could do so for I’m never the driver, forever the passenger.

We also love the streets of Mahabang Parang going to Batangas City where the branches of the trees on the opposite sides meet halfway, providing such shady track.

Going around Batangas will allow you to discover not just the beauty of the province. It tells you a story or two of how people are living there in just a few minutes of passing by their streets.

Familiarize yourself on what is outside the comfort of your home. Unravel every parcel of what makes up the beauty of Batangas and you’ll be wowed. Wink.

P.S.
Better if you have a camera with you. Capture moments, destinations, people, anything! See Batangas through your lens.
