Dr. Larry of Medix Lipa and his Dream of the first Pediatric Center in Batangas

“It melts your heart to see these people but there’s so much gratitude and satisfaction because you were able to help these people. It’s not about being the first or the best, it’s about what we can do to the patients.

We are not turning down patients, basta meron po yang maayos na papeles galing DSWD. If they are poor or they have a disability and they don’t have money as long they have Philhealth, we cater to these people. We cater to them just like how we cater the richest people.

There’s nothing that inspires us more than for us to make sure that we give our patients the best possible treatment. The reason why we build the Pediatric Center is that we have the best obstetricians and pediatricians. That’s why we have the highest rate of deliveries and children coming here. They come here because they believe in the doctors who treat them and they believe in our hospital.

I think what matters is not if you’re the first, the biggest, the most productive, what matters is what we can do to change the lives of the children who are sick.”
