Balete is among the municipalities in Batangas where the most captivating sunset photos are taken. But there are times the sun is out of sight and that’s epic fail for making an otherwise surefire bewitching subject.
So what if the sun is absent in the scene? A shot in Balete can still have all the drama. Just like what Ayn Hernandez had reflected in this photo he shared.
Ayn has been going back and forth from here to Korea for some time. It was in the foreign land where his passion for photography budded. But this time, he wanted to take more and more photos of his hometown, Batangas.
He was particularly looking for destinations where he doesn’t have to spend too much for entrance fees. Where he can just drive his own car, park somewhere safe, and explore for potential subjects for his collection. Want to do the same thing Ayn did? Check our destination guide for photographers.
Since the sun wasn’t out that day, Ayn made himself the subject. Haha. At that moment, he depended on his reliable tripod to produce this shot which he dubbed, “A Scene of My Hometown”.
