A college friend updated his collection of interesting photography subjects on Facebook. The other day, he posted the photo below on his timeline. I got curious when I saw the tagged place – San Juan, Batangas.
But before my curiosity strikes in, I was first impressed by how he nurtured his passion for photography since I don’t know when.
This photo was taken by Roel Valencia in San Juan last year. When I asked him for details, where exactly did he capture this photo, hindi nya rin alam. But he said this is located near the back of San Juan Public Market. So to the locals of San Juan, please let us know what this river is called and the name of the area where this can be found. 🙂
He entitled this photo “patay na ilog”. It wasn’t really pleasant when he described the river (as you may already have an idea how a nearly dead river could smell) but through his lens, perspective, and a few post-processing clicks, this river was resuscitated back to life.
