PCOS Machine CF Cards Now 100% OK

Folks, there’s no need to worry. The PCOS compact flash cards won’t waste your valued votes.

It’s an answered prayer according to COMELEC Chairman Jose Melo. The compact flash (CF) cards are now in its best configuration, allowing the PCOS machines to give 100% accurate reading of voting results.

The COMELEC and the voting public were startled when the PCOS machines read incorrect votes as the testing were halted on Monday morning due to wrong figures reflected by the CF cards.

Here’s some excerpt from Inquirer.net:

“We’re very happy to announce that plans are moving. It’s even better than expected. We have more than 35,000 cards configured and we just received that confirmation that testing and sealing started,” Cesar Flores, Smartmatic-TIM President, said.

“Manual count is out of the question definitely,” Chairman Melo said. The manual appreciation of ballots would only happen in the case of machine breakdown, which he said is a “remote possibility”.

And because the machines are now in its perfect condition, there is “no reason to postpone the election“, Melo added.

As always, vote wisely. I would like to quote a friend who said, >”Why don’t we just work abreast to make this a successful election? Let us not doubt the system. It is our credibility which is (sometimes) questionable.” Thanks, Mr. Harum Scarum! 🙂

  1. Just finished voting. Juice ko po! Maganda sana ang voting process kung walang makakapal ang mukhang sumisingit sa pila!
