During the two-week run of submmission of entries for our B.E.S.T. Photo Contest, we got to realize how Batangueños are very fond of going on beach trips, trekking mountains, and documenting each adventure with countless fun-infused photographs.
Ah, we received a lot of entries that featured Calatagan and Nasugbu beaches. There are also some amazing on-top-of-the-mountain shots that show how breathtaking Batangas is on different point of views.
Of course, we wouldn’t let summer of 2013 pass by without us giving you chronicles of our own getaways since everyone else already started doing so.
And so we’ve got more than 400 entries from the said photo contest. Surprisingly, there are some who sent photos but are all meant just for sharing. Just like Kathy Lapitan who submitted photos of a previous trip through our Facebook page. She’s a native of Calatagan but currently resides in Doha, Qatar.
Kat Hy wrote: “Hi WOWBatangas page! I just want to share our happy trip last year in Rendezvous Resort in Cuenca, Batangas. It’s a nice place to relax [in] as it’s not only a resort but a farm as well. My family and I enjoyed our vacation in [the] Philippines. Hope to come back again next year.”
