Batangas City is just as accessible as other towns and cities in Batangas through South Luzon Expressway and Southern Tagalog Arterial Road or STAR Tollway. With a matter of 110 kilometers from Manila, one can reach Batangas City in an average travel time of less than two hours.
USING A PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Manila – Batangas City
To be able to reach Batangas City using a public vehicle, one must ride a Batangas City Pier Bus. That will pass through Southern Luzon Expressway all the way to STAR Tollway and will take an exit at Batangas City to Batangas City Grand Terminal.
Lipa City – Batangas City
Jump in a Batangas City Pier Bus that you can ride along the National Road or on SM City Grand Terminal in Marawoy, Lipa City. You can also go to Lipa City Bus Stop and take Batangas City Pier Bus.
If you prefer jeep going to Batangas City, you can have a ride at the City Bus Stop, Public Market, Robinson’s Place Lipa and SM City Lipa. You’ll pass by Lipa-San Jose Diversion to San Jose, Batangas and reach Batangas City.
USING A PRIVATE VEHICLE
Manila – Batangas City
With an access route from Manila – Batangas City, you can just take the South Luzon Expressway all the way to STAR Tollway and take an exit to Batangas City.
Lipa City – Batangas City
The easiest route to Batangas City without traffic is through the STAR Tollway which you will find in Brgy. Tambo (take the Batangas – Ibaan Entrance) and you can reach Batangas City.
