Lemery will be celebrating its 150th Founding Anniversary from May 24 to 26, with the line-up of activities attached below.
The celebration highlights three important events such as the Binibining Lemery Global 2012, the Sigpawan Festival, and the Sangguniang Bayan’s session focusing on the petition for the cityhood of the Municipality of Lemery.
We’re sure you’ve heard of the Sigpawan Festival because it has always been among the strongest contingents each year in the Ala Eh! Festival.
Sigpawan Festival was derived from sigpaw or the tool made of net and bamboo used for catching fish and harvesting fruits. This festival is anchored on the promotion of the agro-tourism industry of Lemery.
