*Shotcrete is the generic name for cement, sand and fine aggregate concretes which are applied pneumatically (pressure and compressed) and compacted dynamically under high velocity.
Note: Hollow blocks has 350 pound per square inch (psi) while shotcrete has 2000 psi. A 9 sq inch sledge hammer with 10 lbs if swing by an adult with a velocity of about 40 mph (miles per hour) will have a 1800 psi.
