It was a fun day at SM City Lipa last December 22 in their Longest Puto Bumbong Challenge. The following are the results of the said event. Photos taken by Ross Cortez, a shopper from San Pablo, Laguna.

Champion: Taktakan sa Cathedral (won P15,000)
Team members: Noimie Mendoza, Daisy Sahum, and Richard Melo
Length of puto bumbong made: 69.58 ft.
**They are from Antipolo del Sur, Lipa City whose stall is located at Cathedral de San Sebastian. The winners have been puto bumbong makers/vendors for 15 years now.

First Runner up: Masongsong Family (won P7,000)
Team members: Florante, Mhery Ann, and Adrian Masongsong
Length of puto bumbong made: 33.37 ft.
**They are from Sta. Clara, Batangas City.

Second Runner up: Rivera Family (won P3000)
Team members: Garre James A. Rivera, Manilyn Rivera, and Ronald Mendoza
Length of puto bumbong made: 32.25 ft.
**They are from Tambo, Lipa City and have been puto bumbong makers/vendor for 10 years now.

Special Award (won P3000)
Most Delectable Puto Bumbong: Basilica Group
Team members: Juliet Bagon, Trinidad Espijo, and Valentin Bagon from Brgy. Cuta Batangas City
