Mataasnakahoy, Batangas has two festivals to celebrate: one for the glorious produce of Coconut in the town and the other one is for the preservation of the lake.
 
THE COCO FESTIVAL
The usual festival celebrated by Mataasnakahoy is The Coco Festival celebrated every January when the town fiesta also took place. This festival is relatively about showcasing and celebrating Mataasnakahoy’s Coconut Produce that uplifted the municipality’s economy. This is accompanied by street dance competitions with student, business people, local government units’ participants dressed in their indigenous costumes made from coconut materials. A parade to the whole town and the search for Ms. Mataasnakahoy also happens.

LUMANG KINANG FESTIVAL (Lumanglipa, Kinalaglagan and Nangkaan Festival)
The said names are the names of the barrios found within Mataasnakahoy near Taal Lake. This is usually celebrated together with the feast day of Mother of Perpetual Help. As a part of the festival, people from Mataasnakahoy joins the fluvial parade in the lake and also helps to promote the preservation of it.
