Below is the schedule of activities and the corresponding venue for the 2010 Sinukmani Festival of Rosario, Batangas. Come join this festive event and be part of the merriment, the Rosario style.
This event will be covered by GMA-7’s morning show, UNANG HIRIT. Be there early in the morning and take part on the following activities. We’ll also be there, see you!
7:00 A.M.
PINAKAMAHABANG SINUKMANI (Gualberto Avenue) – More or less 500m long of sinukmani will be laid down for the enjoyment of locals and tourists.
NATATANGING SINUKMANI (Gualberto Avenue) – Ten best decorated sinukmani wil be chosen and gicen cash incentives.
323rd FOUNDATION DAY PROGRAM (Municipal Hall) – Special guest will be the Municipal Mayor of Yeonggwang-Gun, South Korea.
7:30 A.M.
VIEWING OF PINAKAMAHABANG SINUKMANI (Gualberto Avenue) – Local and Korean officials will view the Sinukmani, to be followed by a ceremonial cutting of a sinukmani.
PARADE OF LOCAL OFFICIALS – Local officials will head a parade that will herald the start of the mini-band competition.
8:00 A.M.
MINI-BAND COMPETITION (Luansing Plaza) – A competition of mini-bands of different elementary schools.
6:00 P.M.
CULTURAL SHOW (Laurel Park) – A night of Filipino songs and dances
