It was a rainy evening last March 2, 2011 but that did not stop our kababayang Tomasinos in going to the plaza and watching their Miss Sto. Tomas candidates show their talents on stage. The WOWBatangas Team was lucky enough to be invited backstage and interview some of the nervous but excited Miss Sto. Tomas candidates.
There will always be a first time, and we were very impressed with the talent show that Sto. Tomas had from their candidates. There were Lady Gaga and Lea Salonga impressions, hip-hop and ball-room dance numbers and one candidate even dance-interpreted a popular Bamboo song. Congrats Tomasinos!
The Miss Sto. Tomas Pageant is part of the tourism drive of the Municipality of Sto. Tomas and is a key event in their celebration of the 345th Sto. Tomas Fiesta.
Unfortunately we can’t stay that much longer into the night but we’re hoping to come back on the actual pageant on March 5, 2011.

it was really unfair for the other candidates that there was one of them who was not born a Tomasian…particularly candidate no.8 But lets face it guys miss Sto. Tomas has always allegations or rumors running around every year…its the organizers and people behind the pageant’s fault.I think candidate no.8 is a beauty pageant enthusiast that’s why she likes joining pageant even if she’s not suppose to join our pageant, my advice to her is that if she really want to be held beautiful woman inside and out why dont you join Bb. Pilipinas who knows you might have a chance to bag the title in that pageant coz clearly a full blood tomosian should be the only person who can comfit for Miss Sto. Tomas …But I am still happy that a real blood Tomasian won the title.. Congratulation Miss San Felix…you deserved the title.
good thing a real tomasian won the title, for candidate no.8 join Binibining Pilipinas who knows you might bagged the title in that pageant…lets face it guys there’s always rumors and allegations every year at miss Sto. Tomas…its the organizers and committees fault…its just so happened that candidate no8 is a beauty pageant enthusiast thats why she keeps joining pageant even if its not the right pageant for her….

Bicol, so papayag ba kayong in case na manalo sya eh ang Miss Sto. Tomas eh Bicolana, ano ba ito palakasan? but di ko naman sinabing mananalo na sya but sana lang ang 1st priority rito eh real Tomasian.

Candidate number 8 is my friend. . .8 years n xang naktira s sto. Tomas at 2 years n xang registerd voters ng sto. Tomas. The requirements is lehitimong tga sto. Tomas or at least registerd voters xa. . .so wala kau mggwa dahil pumasa xa s screening. . .maybe she’s one of the top contenders kaya ganyan n lng ang mga cnsbi mo. . .ingat n lng

SO DO U THINK LIHITIMO syang taga sto tomas but ang hometown nya ay MUNITINLUPA at province eh BICOL? hindi porket registered voter ka rito eh puede na syang LIHITIMONG TOMACINO, kc ang daming registered voter dito na di naman dito nakatira coz u know naman ang PULITIKO di ba? gagawin lahat makamit lang nila ang boto mo kahit di ka taga rito,paano nga ba nakapasa sa screening kung taga Bicol sya, symepre may kapit sya or may kasyotaan sya kaya sya nakapasa. Ang sinasabi ko lang kawawa naman ang talagang taga sto. tomas na candidate kung may makakalaban na outsider…di sana hindi pageant ng MISS STO. TOMAS para open for all.At to be clear ang qualification. sa pulitika may dayaan na nga eh pati ba naman sa pageant may dayaan pa rin. and correction plz one the contender but not top, paano ka nakakasiguro na kasali na sya sa top, bakit sinabi na ba na sya ang mananalo? Ang sinasabi ko lang yung totoo at to be fair sa mga candidate…At bakit masama bang mag comment at pinag iingat mo ako? takot ako ha!
Charito@ sabi mo nga pala 8 yrs. na sya dito sa sto. tomas eh student sya ng PUP so u mean 8 yrs. na syang nag aaral ng PUP? may doctorate na pala dyan? kelan pa?
TO ALL TOMACINO CANDIDATES,GUDLOCK SA INYO..At sa lahat ng mag jujudges sana be fair lang po, sana walang palakasan at yung karapat dapat na LIHITIMONG TAGA STO. TOMAS ang dapat manalo, coz karangalan natin ito. And sa lahat na nag agree at nag like sa mga comment ko THANK U po, gusto ko lang ipagtanggaol ang mga lihitimong candidate ng MISS STO. TOMAS and to be fair to all. HAPPY FIESTA po sa inyong lahat.

AND ONE THING MORE D JUDGES, ALTHOUGH SABIHIN NATING NAKAPASOK NA, DI SANA WALA NA LANG AWARD AT IBINIGAY SA KARAPAT DAPAt na tomacino… But infairness maganda sya at marunong sumagot d point is hindi sya qualified kc di sya APO NI TOMAS…but anyway tapos na at alam mo naman dito sa atin maybe umiiral ang pera,palakasan kc maaring may KASYOAANG MALAKAS DITO, MAARING ISA SA COMMITTE?
