For most people, summer is the best time of the year. Think about vacation, out-of-town trips, the beach! Summer is here. Or is it really?
Okay, so it was reported weeks ago that we are to experience a rainy summer. But hey, did anybody say that there would still be strong winds here even without rainfall?
I don’t know in other parts of the province but here in Mataasnakahoy, in Lipa City and the neighboring towns, it’s like Christmas is in the air. Again. Strong winds are blowing from time to time, whistling even.
It’s ironic seeing people wearing jacket or coat at the time when we expect to see most of us wearing tank tops and shorts. Oh Earth, what’s happening with you?
La Niña. Climate change. Global warming. What else do we need understand before things get even worse?
Sad to say, we have to endure the consequences of the activities we humans have done in the past years that caused alteration to the environment.
I’m sure a lot of you are excited to bask under the sun and feel the warmth of summertime. My friends and I are planning for our summer trip. I suggested we go on a day tour instead of an over night trip so at least there’s sun and dipping on the water won’t get us shivering.
How do you deal with the cold summer? Tell us. 😉
