Dear Miong and Julieta,
My ex-boyfriend and I broke up a few months ago. We’ve passed the so-called three month rule. Right now, may mga nagpaparamdam na guys but no one has formally expressed his intention na manligaw. Tamang pangungulit lang. Do you think having a new guy around will help me move on? Isa kaya yun sa mga effective na solusyon?

Hey Selene,
Ang mga rebound guy/girl ay biyaya para sa mga napaka lungkot na tao.
Parang ginawa talaga sila para ma-divert ang ating mga atensyon sa mga mas magagandang bagay sa mundo.
Sa tulong o sa presensya nila, nakakalimutan na (ng mga bitter) ang mga problemang minsan nang nangbasag sa kanilang mga buhay.
Pero hindi ibig sabihin na pag pumatol ka sa mga rebound guy ay napagtagumpayan mo na ang kalungkutan.
Lalo na kung ang tingin mo sa kanila ay isang “solusyon” lamang.
Solusyon. Ibig sabihin, may problema ka pa ‘teh. Kasi…
‘Pag dumais ka sa mga rebound guy, you may feel good but you are actually settling for less. At ‘yung tunog pa lang ng settling for less ay hindi na kaaya-aya. Di ba?
Imbes na maka move-on ka at sumaya ay parang lumalabas na niloloko mo lang ang sarili mo. Kasi you would still think of Mr. A though you’re in Mr. B’s possession.
Ampalot nun ‘di ba?
Pero kung hindi ka talaga tablan ng DVD, sports, pagkain, heartbreaking songs,
bawal na gamot, internet at mga tunay na kaibigan, gora! Ituloy mo yan!Si Miong ay di nambabasag ng trip.
Basta siguraduhin mong hindi mararamdaman ni boylet ang naramdaman mo noon. Pagkat sa lahat ng ginagawa natin, dapat laging me makataong konsensya.
Kaming mga lalake ay cute pero hindi kami mga toys. 🙂

“Love takes time to heal when you’re hurtin so much” — ika nga sa isang kanta.
If you are not that over with your past relationship, I don’t think having a new guy around will help you to move on. Madadagdagan lang ang paglito mo kung ganun. There are instances na akala mo you’re over with the past pero hindi pala if you are to move on with a new guy around you.
Hang out with your friends, make yourself busy, there are lots of effective things you can do to forget the pain from your past.
But in the end, still it’s you who’ll make the decision, just follow what makes you happy.
