It was late last year when my friends booked our group two trips for 2012 — Cebu and Palawan. Upon the dawn of this year, I asked myself where else I would want to set my feet onto. Anywhere in Asia perhaps? Nah. Next year na lang!
Last year, I celebrated my birthday in Boracay and this year, it would be an early celebration as our Cebu trip is set a few days before my birthday. Then we’d segue to Bohol!
My relatives would always tell me to enjoy my life as much as possible before I decide to tie the knot and marry the man of my dreams. Kfine. And among the best ways to enjoy life is through traveling.
Traveling is one of the things that makes me feel ecstatic. Dora the explorer ang peg ko for life. Some people think it’s a waste of money and time but I beg to disagree. Conquering a new place is an investment. Why? It contributes to your own development.
When you go to a place that isn’t your home, you realize a lot of things, you discover new things about yourself and of other people. When you travel, you open yourself to the world and the world opens up for you. There’s something magical about traveling. Something that even words couldn’t tell.
Aside from Cebu/Bohol and Palawan, I’m looking forward to a couple of more trips. The Temple Run king gave me a list of the places he’d want us to go to. Nakakalito sa dami!
