Since 2007, the Municipality of Lemery, Batangas has been observing the celebration of Sigpawan Festival. This is similar to other festivals in the country which showcase thanksgiving in the form of lively dances and colorful costumes. Another activity is the feast day of St. Roque which is celebrated in August. Both activities are religious in nature and attract both local tourists and traders.
Sigpawan always captivates people from their street dancers, to different activities like Bangkaton and beautiful ladies raging for the crown of the most beautiful woman in Lemery.
