On November 10, 2014, Governor Vilma Santos-Recto headed the turnover of hosting the Ala Eh! Festival from Batangas City to the Municipality of Taal. The gathering was attended by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Batangas, the Sangguniang Bayan of Taal and the Chairpersons of the Ala Eh! Festival Executive Committee.
Upon having the opening prayer, Governor Vi addressed the panel promising that this year’s festival will be grand and will be the most awaited festival of the year. She also thanked Batangas City (as represented by BM Marvey Marino and Tourism Officer Ed Borbon) upon having successfully hosted last year’s Ala Eh! Festival.
Along with the acceptance of the turnover, Governor Vilma Santos-Recto handed over the key of responsibility of hosting the next Ala Eh! Festival to Mayor Michael Montenegro of Taal.
And together with all the attendees, they gave a “thumbs up” sign in agreement that all is well.
