Fastech Synergy Philippines Inc and FAITH Colleges together with the Semiconductor & Electronics Industries in the Philippines Foundation Inc. (SEIPI) are co-organized this year’s Green ICT Forum in conjunction with the Philippine Semiconductor and Electronics Convention and Exhibition (PSECE) last 01 June 2019 at the SMX Convention Center, Manila, Philippines.
With the theme “Green ICT and R&D for National Progress,” the event provided a platform for a comprehensive discussion on the sustainable use, manufacturing, and development of Information and Communication Technology (or Green ICT). With technology and electronics playing an increasingly significant role across the world, the forum’s ultimate goal is to promote a mindset of sustainability for ICT.
The summit discussion focused on: The Future of Manufacturing Technologies: Industry-driven Concept; Society 5.0; Industry 4.0; Practical Approach to Smart Factory; Green Power; Decentralized Energy Generation using Next Generation Solar Systems; and Sustainability and Green Initiatives of Analog Devices.
This year’s international lineup of resource persons include: Osamu Namikawa (並河 治), Sr. Manager for Environmental Affairs from the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA); Berthold Arweiler, Head of AIT MA Smart Factory from Continental Temic; Rhett V. Ramos, Asia IT Director from Allegro MicroSystems Philippines, Inc; Olaf Gresens, President of Merlin Solar Technologies, Inc.; Carlos Lorenzo L. Vega, Vice President for Power Marketing and Trading from First Gen Corporation; Florence Galindo, EH&S Manager from Analog Devices Philippines; Saturnino G.
