Batanguenong Grupo sa Singing at Kultura (BAGSIK) together with Batang Angas, the Batangas Provincial Camera Club, Studio Angeli Artist Guild, Urban Sketchers Batangas, the United Architects of the Philippines (Batangas Chapter), and students from the Batangas Province High School for Culture and Arts (BPHSCA), the Batangas State University (BSU) and the Lyceum of the Philippines – Batangas (LPU – Batangas), put forth a 30-minute show that exhibited museum art pieces out of closed walls and into the streets.

The Human Easel Project is an innovation of Art Show Philippines Founder Frederick Epistola who aims to that art “be part of the human body—brought outside of the closed, traditional museum and gallery setups closer out on the streets where people can see, interact, appreciate, and share the experience with the art pieces up close.”

The activity was also participated in by visual artists and art enthusiasts from other places including the municipality of Agoncillo led by BAGSIK Membership and Recruitment Chairman Jennifer M. Bermejo, Bauan led by Art’e Bauan President Yel Castillo and Art’e Likha head Artemio Garcia Jr., and Lumbang in Batangas, Catanduanes, Tabaco, Daet and Libmanan in the Bicol region, Baguio City, Cabanatuan City, Manila, Valenzuela in Bulacan, General Santos City, and California, USA.

The Human Easel Project is an activity that helps kick-off the National Arts Month celebration every February.
