A Million Roses for the World, Filipinos at Prayer: Peace for All Nations

“A Million roses for the World. Filipinos at Prayer: Peace for all Nations” is a prayer project to enlist One Million Filipinos to pray five decades of the Holy rosary everyday from October 10, 2011 to May 2012, each day from Monday to Saturday dedicated to one nation in the world while the Sunday Rosary is reserved for our own families and nation, the Philippines.

“Certainly, we all want peace. We want peace among our family members, among nations and peace in out hearts. Many people when asked where they want to go when they die would say, “heaven!” It is also called the Kingdom of God. jesus himself said that the Kingdom of God is like a mustard see. It starts so small and yet it ca grow huge and useful. Our call to pray the Rosary daily maybe a small gesture for each of us. But it could grow to be huge, vital catalyst for us to change hardened hearts and to lessen human suffering in all forms. The Rosary will be our primary too to bring Heaven in our midst. The Rosaries we offer daily are like roses that beautify and spread fragnance of true wholeness all over the world. It is not a daunting task if we do it together! Let us join hearts and hands as we say our steadfast, constant, simple Hail Mary’s daily for our brothers and sisters all over the world to make the Earth a haven of peace and brotherly love.” – Loudette Zaragoza-Banson, Chairperson
