Likha Internet’s first major event will transpire this coming Friday, September 11, 2009 entitled “Internet Marketing for SME’s and Micro-Businesses” at the Teachers’ Conference Center from 8am to 5pm.
This seminar is intended to raise the awareness of the participants on the importance of internet marketing to the growth of businesses through online advertising. The audience will be composed of marketing students and officers from various schools in Batangas as well as marketing heads of business establishments in the province.
A set of competent resource speakers from the field of online advertising and web-blogging will grace the seminar – Rommel Cantos, Marghil Macuha, and Abraham “Yuga” Olandres. They will feed the participants with reliable information on the concepts of internet marketing, how to expand business through Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and how to utilize blogs and social networks for advertising.
The event sponsors are Hershey’s, SMART, Guitar Tutee, Center for Pop Music, and Pasalubong Batangueno. Providing entertainment for the audience will be Pinoy Idol finalist Penelope Matanguihan and three other artists from the Center for Pop Music.
A WOWBatangas booth will also be on site for participants who would want to have a souvenir photo of the event. Furthermore, one of the event’s highlights will be Your-Website-Idea contest. The contest is open for everyone. The mechanics will be given immediately on the start of the program. The winner will be announced right before the conclusion of the event. The winner will be given the following: Lifetime Domain Registration, Lifetime Web Hosting, and Website Design.
Despite the hassles and stressful loads of tasks, I am looking forward to see how the event would turn out. Being an event organizer might be quite of a toxic job but to see how people would appreciate all the efforts exerted is truly rewarding. The WOWBatangas Team prepared interesting features for this event. See you there!
