This post is primarily for first-time users of the website. I have created it for you, dear Batangueño, so that you can have the fullest WOWBatangas Experience.
The Homepage
Let’s start with the homepage. Below the category navigation (which is present in all of the pages) are 1) the Announcement posts, where we roll-out the most important news, and 2) ten (10) categories with the three (3) latest articles that we deem you might be interested in. Clicking on any of the thumbnails or the text links will bring you to the page of the full article.
The Sidebar
Next is the sidebar. The sidebar contains permanent links to Pages that allow you to contact the WOWBatangas Team (Advertise, Invite, Contribute). It also provides link to the latest articles and most recent comments left on the website. Links to our partners and sponsors are also featured on the sidebar.
The Articles and the Comments Section
All of our articles in WOWBatangas are presented in such a way that you can express your opinion and leave it on the website for the authors and other visitors to see. Your comment may be in the form of inquiry, or you may share additional Batangenyo experiences that may be relevant to the article. Occasional greetings and shout-outs are also welcome. To leave your comments, scroll down to the bottom of the article. There, you’ll find text boxes that require your name(required), email(required), website, and of course your message. After typing your message, hit the Submit button, and voila, your thoughts are imprinted on WOWBatangas for all to see. You can also reply to other comments by clicking the Reply link to their comments. For a better experience, we encourage you to sign-up for a Gravatar pic, so that your picture will be left along with your comment.
The Footer
The newest addition to the WOWBatangas website is the footer, where you will see a neat toolbar that links mostly to Social Profiles of WOWBatangas, like the WOWBatangas Twitter account and WOWBatangas Facebook Fan Page. You can also use the toolbar to share our articles on both your twitter and facebook accounts. Pretty nice, eh?
One of our goals here in WOWBatangas is to provide our readers with the best online experience in terms of communication with other Batangenyos, knowledge gathering and Multimedia. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve this goal, let us know by leaving your comments below.
