Batangas Experiences Cold Summer Nights

March is about to end. We’re on the third week actually and during this time of the year, we should have been complaining with a very hot weather. But hey baby, it’s cold outside!

During the first week of the current month, we officially welcomed summer 2012 as there were days that the sun was really scorching hot. But what happened over the weekend was what some have termed as “talanding panahon”. Haha.

Blame La Niña for the occasional ‘summer rain’. So don’t get surprised if there would be ran showers while you’re enjoying the beach and stuff.

It was like December once again in this part of the country. Batangas is known to cradle some of the coldest towns and city, particularly Lipa, during holiday season. Are you enjoying the wind and the cold summer nights here in Batangas?

We don’t know if we’re the only ones who are experiencing this cold summer. Here in Mataasnakahoy, in Lipa City and in the neighboring towns, the temperature gets cold especially in the evening. Naka-sweater nga kami dito sa office ngayon! Haha.

How to deal with a cold summer?

cold summer nights in BatangasMake sure you have a shawl or a cardigan when you go to work. Not only because you’re work place is air-conditioned but you need some warm protection when you’re out.

Take your vitamins. This kind of crazy weather could hit your system. With a weather like this, you are more prone to cough and cold so it’s always better to shield yourself from getting the virus hit you.

Don’t you think that a cold summer is also one way of saving electricity? In this case, you don’t need to turn on the air-condition or the electric fan. Use them when the temperature gets too hot again.
