Last night, while browsing over my Facebook newsfeed which I still don’t get the hang of (I still think that the recent stories and top stories display sucks), I saw this meme of Payatas dump site with screaming letters like that of the Hollywood sign on Mount Lee in California.
The browsing was fairly boring. Until earlier this morning when I stumbled upon this story on Yahoo!, “New meme: Landmarks all over after ‘Batangas’ in Taal Volcano”.

Then some more memes where created by photo-editing savvies and posted all over the social network. How will this uplift the local tourism industry? Apparently, this is not an original idea but will this help us promote the province?
