It was one rainy Friday afternoon of August 5 when SM City Batangas held the first of the two-day Coffee Convention at the mall’s atrium.
The Coffee Convention highlighted the artwork exhibit of coffee painter, Sunshine Plata. Sunshine is half-Batanguena, her mom is from Bauan. Get to know more about Sunshine in our separate feature on her.
It was an afternoon of pure delight as the atrium was transformed into a garden with wooden furniture courtesy of Mahmood Khorrami Pour Exotic Furniture Collection.
The event started with a coffee tasting activity facilitated by Jaysac Arellano and Carla Ocfemia or Starbucks Coffee SM City Batangas. The two baristas shared the beginnings of Starbucks and demonstrated the step-by-step procedure on how to savor the goodness of their house blend coffee.
