Nov 7 ’10 3PM, Lipa City – About 300+ kids from Batangas have shown their support to Operation Smile Philippines and help other kids with facial deformities. We started to put up the booth by 10AM after the weekly Sunday Mass, and kids (with their parents) started participating by 11AM.
And what a nice way to help this time! All eager 5-12 year old have the chance to win prizes from Havaianas by designing their own flip-flops, answering the question “What Makes You Smile?”. Winners will be chosen on November 20 and will be posted soon thereafter at Havaianas Philippines website. The winning design/s will be made into actual slippers, with proceeds of the sale to go to Operation Smile Philippines, who in turn help kids with facial deformities have surgery. So that like the kids who joined the contest, they too can finally have that great smile.
It’s not too late! The SM Lipa leg of this contest will continue today until 8-9PM. Just bring your kids here at the center atrium and our friendly staff will assist you.
