A Fun Food Trip at the Mall, the WOWBatangas Way

Usually when you go to the mall, you’d dine in at your favorite fast food chain. But what if it happens too often you get sick and tired of getting the same value or combo meals? Minsan kasi nakakasawa na rin. So Jane, one of our OJTs, and I thought of a different food trip to make your mall hours a little bit exciting.

See those food stalls/carts around the mall area? Pick around three to four of them, buy anything that you want from each of these food stalls and create your own combo meal. But wait, here’s the catch. Allot P200 maximum for you and your buddy. It doesn’t have to be divided equally between the two of you. You can pick various food items which you can share.

What makes this food trip exciting? It’s like a treasure hunt! You’d search for the best food items with a fixed budget and so you won’t get broke. Plus, it’s a great bonding idea for you and your food trip buddy. You have to allot a certain amount kasi for us, ‘yun yung fun part. So hanap talaga kami ni Jane ng kung anong mga gusto naming kainin.

So here’s what we’ve got for ourselves today: Jane and I both had Icebreaker Scrambles (P17.00 each); I don’t know what has gotten into our minds but we had another brain freezer, Miguelito’s Fried Ice Cream (P30.00 each); Plato Wrap’s Yummy Tuna for Jane (46.00); and Potato Madness Sour Cream flavored French fries for me (P38.00). All in all, we’ve spent P179.00 for our food trip. Haha!

Maybe you could try this food trip that we had. At least yung gusto mo talagang kainin ang makakain mo and at the same time, may thrill sa paghahanap ng bubuo ng combo meal mo. This is a fun food trip if you want to avoid fast food chains for the meantime or you’re gearing away from the fine dining restaurants that could be way beyond your budget. — Dyan

I do mix and match not only with clothes but also with food. Getting what each store’s specialty and putting them together satisfies my food craving.

This is the first time I ate fried ice cream and it made me wonder why they call it FRIED where in fact, they only put the liquid mixture in a cold pan until it the ice cream mixture becomes solid in form. Hmmm… Anyway, it looks so cute to eat and tastes good too! I love their toppings a lot. Nagustuhan din kaya ni Miss D? =) — Jane
