The tragedies that hit Japan were beyond anyone’s control. Japan, we feel for you. This prayer, we would like to offer with utmost sincerity.
Dear God,
The terrifying earthquake that shook Japan shook our hearts. The tsunami that wiped out properties, stability, lives, broke our spirits. And now, the threat of radiation poisoning gradually creates nightmare in the lives of the Japanese people.
Lord, we pray for Your protection. We pray that no further damage will destroy a nation considered among the most powerful ones.
Thousands of people are still missing. May they find the light and the path that You have for them.
Thousands of lives were lost during the deluge. We do not have the power to bring back the lives of those victims but we know we could pray that they may be in peace with You now.
We pray for the safety of our fellow Filipinos who are working and living in Japan. Please, safeguard the lives of these people and diminish the fear lingering inside them.
What the world sees now are devastating results of that fateful March 11 earthquake and tsunami. It was disheartening and we pray for healing.
Let the missing people find their way back. Let the affected people get back their lives. Japan is suffering a very difficult time now. Let Your guiding hands ease their burden.
While on the other parts of the world, there are foreboding political turmoil and civil unrest. Lord, we pray for peace. We pray for understanding and for courage to withstand the adversities and conflicts around us.
Please, heal Japan, protect the Philippines, save the world. All these we pray through Your holy name.
